I made reservations for my wife and I for Valentine's Day dinner. We arrived on time and there was no one to seat us. We waited at the entrance for about five minutes before a waiter walked past us and he didn't acknowledge our existence. We watched for another five minutes while he checked on a few tables. Finally he walked up to us and to two more couples that had arrived for 7:30pm reservations. The waiter said they had a staffing shortage that evening and if we were to be seated it would be a very long time to be served any food. We all said we had reservations, and he said that didn't matter. We asked how long he meant by "a very long time"and he said it would be least one hour to receive any food after ordering and possibly much longer depending on what was ordered. So on Valentine's Day at 7:50pm, with confirmed reservations at Restaurant Jardenea, we all had to find another restaurant that was available.
